Overview:

Social Compliance & QHSE professionals need proper knowledge, guidelines and management ability for maintaining the standard of the safe working condition, ensuring safety of workforce, managing natural resources and optimizing organization performance. Upgradation of knowledge, skill of new and existing social compliance, administrative and QHSE professional are necessary along with regular update of all social assessment, certification process, and code of conduct implementation. Considering the situation ECDL has come forward to enhance the knowledge of social compliance related issues for the executives, managers, merchandisers, quality personnel and owners of apparel industry by providing training on social compliance and QHSE.

Shami Walid is a professional trainer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His competencies range from Human Resource Management, Administration, Social Compliance, Business Communication, and Managerial Training to essential business skills, such as Entrepreneurial Development, Change Management & Transnational Management. He is specialized in guiding entry to mid-level management professionals, managers and small business enterprises (SME) business owners to overcome their professional limitations and discover their hidden potentially for success. His passion is to remove the efficiency gap from professionals as well as from organization.

Shami Walid began his career as professional trainer in 2015 along with work experience from several National Companies (NC), Multinational Companies (MNC) and Humanitarian Organizations such as ASM Chemical Industries Limited, VIYELLATEX Limited, Regatta Limited, Medecins Sans Frontieres (International) and OPPO Bangladesh factory: BENLI Electronic Enterprise Co. Limited. Till now he has conducted fifty (50) on the job trainings and ten (10) external trainings in ready-made garments industries, training organizations, corporate houses and educational institution. During his professional tenure he displayed exceptional leadership skills, pioneer technical/business initiatives and lead them to success.

At present he has been functioning as HR Manager in a CHINESE owned smart communication device assembling industry name as OPPO Bangladesh: BENLI Electronic Enterprise Co. Limited.

Shami Walid obtained Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Daffodil International University in 2010, Masters of Business Administration degree from Bangladesh Open University in 2017 and Diploma in Social Compliance in 2014 from Bangladesh Institute of management (BIM). For enabling himself as a professional trainer he has obtained Training of Trainers (ToT) certification from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). He has attended many professional development training from national and multinational training organization.
